The sensor and prototype data are fictional; the earthquake file is a selected real USGS week. None asks students to create a Telemetry account. Do not upload student data.
I’m JR, and I built Telemetry, a hosted service for structured software events and SQL queries. The lessons work without it. If a class later needs to try sending synthetic events, the public $0 plan includes 1 GB of storage and needs no credit card; have a teacher review any cloud use first.
Telemetry’s current terms require account creators to be over 18. Younger students can use the printable activity without creating an account. Terms of Service
